The Foundation is best known for the landscaping beautification and overall improvement of picturesque Lake Shore Road. In that important effort, the Foundation: planted hundreds of trees; replaced sod in the traffic islands and lake side areas; created landscape gardens, installed a sprinkler system and replaced old street signs with lighted signs.
