On August 25, 2018 the Grosse Pointe Shores community celebrated the dedication of the refurbished tennis courts. Four beautiful courts are now available for the use of residents and their guests.  Already people have been seen playing during the day or at night under the lights.
The Grosse Pointe Shores Improvement Foundation provided cookies, fruit and beverages to enjoy under a tent after the dedication ceremony and photo session.

Basketball Net Donation

The basketball court project was planned in 2009 and completed in the spring of 2010. The new equipment features permanent stantions with high-grade Plexiglas backboards and new rim assemblies.

Don't despair if you visit the Park and forget to bring a basketball. Several basketballs were donated to GPSIF from Harper Sports. Residents can borrow them from the Park office during the spring and summer when the office is open.
